Rain is Pori's favourite kind of weather: puddles everywhere. But the best part of this clip is on the lamppost.
A seven-spot ladybird sits there, red with seven black spots. Both the adults and their larvae eat aphids, which makes them welcome in every garden. In autumn they look for shelter to spend the winter.
Wet days are good days to go outside. Many animals are more active after rain, and the city smells different.

Try it outside
After the next rain, go for a short puddle walk on the sidewalk with a sibling or a friend. Before you jump, look around the puddle for one small animal. Then jump.
